Xbox 360 – More Than Video Gaming

The Xbox delivers more than video gaming. This machine allows you to play DVD movies, music, video chat with live camera, and control your TV and entertainment media. Surely, the Xbox 360 is a centerpiece if you live a digital life style.

If you want to listen to CDs on your Xbox 360, all you have to do is insert the CD into the Xbox. You are directed to the built-in media player that has all the controls you need including start, stop, random and play. You can create and edit your own playlists.

You can also watch DVD movies on your Xbox 360.You can download videos from Xbox Live Marketplace or you can watch rented or purchased DVD movies. All you have to do is insert the DVD and follow the easy online instructions.

If your Xbox 360 has the optional hard drive you can rip music from CDs onto it. This is identical to burning your favorite Music CD on your PC. You just put the disc in the Xbox, look for the play bar button that allows you to 'rip CD' – select this and choose “select all” to copy a CD. It is then burned to the hard drive.

The Xbox 360 allows you to view digital photographs and categories of images. You can transfer photographs from your computer or digital camera for viewing. You can also set up a live cam on your Xbox 360 which allows you to take part in video chats with your friends.

The Xbox 360 comes with a handy universal controller. It is backlit for use in poor lighting and can be used to control your DVDs and CDs. Use it to pause, stop and start music, movies, and pictures. It also has the A, B, and X, Y buttons so you can operate your Xbox 360 without using the controller.

When you own an Xbox 360, you will be able to access the Xbox Live Marketplace where you can download games including retro arcade games. You will also be able to download videos and movie trailers.

You can use the Xbox 360 to keep in contact with your friends by using chat and messaging. Xbox 360 even has voice messaging when you use the optional headset accessory.

The Xbox 360 has many fun and useful features that go far beyond gaming. Unlimited possibilities and hours of fun – that’s what the Xbox 360 is all about.
